Matt - my thoughts & prayers are with you & the corkster.
Have you tried tuna? Or putting tuna juice on her food?
Some of the people in the cat blogosphere also have had success getting their cats back to eating with chicken flavored baby food in jars.
Hope she's doing better soon!

I like that photo; it's very sweet.

I hope Corky is on the mend very, very soon.

Poor Cork. I know a sick pet makes you feel so helpless.

Get well, soon, dear Corkster.

Cork's gonna be just fine. I just declared it so it must be true!

Poor kitty. :( I look forward to some good news soon, dammit!

Poor Corky =( Mo is right though, baby food (single meat, no spam) works really well. Oh and how about nutrical? High calorie supplement that helps perk the appetite. Ask your vet. And I am crossing my fingers for her.

You, Sir, have been named a Rockin' Boy Blogger.

Inky made me do it. LOL!

Thanks all...It has been soooo slow on the mend. Thanks Trav!! I'll check it out.

Ask the vet about Pedialite. That is what I offered Annie when we about lost her. Woked WONDERS.

I do hope she gets all better soon. I hate when the pets get sick. Hubby had nightmares about the dog getting hurt and not being able to find the vet's number so I put numbers for two vetrinarians on the wall right next to the phone, just in case.

It's hard to understand how much we love our pets unless you've had a pet you loved.

Schmoop said...

Yep Marilyn, pets get stuck into your heart quickly and deeply. Cheers and thanks!!

Hope Corky is feeing better! Sally, our dog who had to have neck surgery and still is slightly off balance, sends her strong healing vibes! Fergus does his old dog, "Who? What?" routine. Tully says, "Meow, my sista. Meow."

THe baby food works very well. Still sending my best

TB,
She's starting to eat a little, but she really only wants the treats that got her into this in the first place! She is getting better! Thanks.
