There's a fruit store on our street

The day he died, I was 16 and in the ER passing a stone!(OW) The nurses were in the hallway talking and I heard "Guess who died!" and my poor drug-filled brain screamed "ME!!" The anniversary of his death is always a painful memory for me *sniff*

Sniff, sniff. This is my birthday, today, and I turned four when Elvis died. I remember being in the old station wagon with the family when we heard it on the radio. I knew who Elvis was, but my parents were more into the Eagles in those days, so it wasn't that sad to me, even though Mom and my older siblings seemed upset. I do love some banana and peanut butter sandwiches, though! I like them with honey and not deep-fried, though. I'm much healthier than Elvis in that way. And in the way that I don't take mass quantities of drugs...
