Sigh....

If you've been following me for the last week, you know what I'm about to say....

No getty outy.

I personally, am beyond pissed, so just think what our beloved Matt-Man is going through. I was just at the hospital when an actual doctor came in. I had everything crossed, including things that do not need to be crossed. Ouch!

Anyhoo, no such luck. Hopefully tomorrow.

Are they sick of him many of you have asked? Evifuckindentially not!!! I did however steal two masks, so I guess that'll show em! I'm going for the hand sanitizer next, then a chair! I'm sure I have a big enough bag around here somewhere!!

I'm trying to make light of a situation that is driving us both crazy. I want you all to know, that I've held my shit together really well for the last seven, count em seven days, but now....I may fucking lose it. At least Matt-Man won't see it.

He is much, much better, but they won't let him go until they are sure he is 100%. Right now, at this moment, I just want him HOME. He understands, but is still depressed about the whole thing.

He said he's going on a hunger, and bathing strike, (as he ordered a tuna sandwich with fries, and cleaned up) takin' it the Man, my boy.

I'll be here all today, and tomorrow, and whenthefuckever. Try the veal, and tip your waitress!!

Cheers, yea right.

PS: I have one stale Krispy Kreme donut, if anyone wants it...

Hang in there Schmoop, they are bound to figure out that he is just milking this shit for all it's worth then kick his lazy ass out.

That was just me trying to cheer you up. JR and I are really concerned about both of you. Take care!

Beth said...

Michele: Thanks hon, I'm trying to maintain, but it's hard. Thank JR for me too.

Oh Crap! That totally sucks for you both. I really hope he's out of there soon.

In the meantime you're doing a great job now go rest!!

Wow, he was really pushing the limits by not going in earlier. 7-8 days in a hospital, is no small deal.

That's too bad. Tell Matt to start shitting and pissing himself and I bet they'll let him out tonight!

He's evidently being too nice. In fact, Schmoop, I think you should shit and piss yourself as well. The staff typically frowns upon that kindn of behavior.

I hope he's back home soon!

Geez Louise - people have grown old and died in less time.

Is there some buxom nurse in there doing stripper pole dances and giving great blowjobs or something? And by the way, I'm assuming that is not a male nurse...just for the record. I'm just sayin' in case someone doubted anything.

My most positive best karma wishes are flowing your way.

If they d not want to release him - he is not ready to come home...last thing anyone needs is his having a relapse

Ena: It sucks, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. Luckily we don't get trick or treaters, so I didn't have to share my candy! Sending wishes!

Mystery: He hopefully will be out tomorrow, just need to regulate the antibiotics. Rest? Surely you jest!! Thanks hon.

Mick: No not a small deal, but when you think you don't have anything major???? What are ya gonna do?

Wow, still there..he must have really had it bad..I know this is probably causing financial worries for you both too with him missing work, but try to focus on his getting well and trust that the rest will all work out...btw,how is Ryno taking it?

well damn.

don't know who I feel more sorry for...Mateo? you? the hospital staff who have to put up with him?

(probably you)

I'll toss up a prayer that he is well enough tomorrow to get his discharge papers.

Snugs: I just want him well and home. Ryno is fine. As is everyone else. Thanks Snugs!!

Kat: Thanks. Better feel sorry for the hospital staff, I know I do! TOMORROW!! Think good thoughts.

Beth said...

Diane: Thanks hon! I hope everything is well with you. I have actually been trying to re-arrange the furniture, so he trips over it when he comes home! How's that for love?!!

Can you imagine? Having to put up with ... ummmm ... tolerating ... wait ... that isn't right either ...

Matt-Man - 24/7 for 8 days? Need I say more?

Maybe tomorrow? I'm starting to sound like a cubs fan!

Beth said...

Dana: Ha! A Cubs fan, like there are any out there. Oh wait, my brother is a die hard Cubs fan. Nevermind. Hey, wait a minute, I put up with him 24/7. Again, nevermind....

Sorry, don't know how my comment got duplicated, but like I said, I'm self medicating!

I would say "He's in the right place Schmoop" but, of course, the right place is a bar.

The wifey is a bit religious...not my fault...she married a 'bit of rough' I suppose.

She said a prayer for him today in her church. I asked her to.

I'm a softie.

Good luck babe. To both of you. xx

Is this a good time to ask if you have any pictures of the nurses giving Matt-Man an enema?

I'm just wondering if he was smiling or had a grimace.

Sorry, I know how hard all of this can be, I’ve went through it many times myself. Just please keep giving him (and you) my love!

what are the odds that I follow my sister and my brother into this room, one two three? Ha!
You're doing GREAT, Schmoop. In fact, I am enjoying reading you very much - NO POLITICS (not that there's anything wrong with that,
M2, but I am very bored by it).
A week in the hospital will either kill ya or cure ya. I simply can't imagine a stay that long.
I'm sure he is taking plenty of notes, and will have blog-fodder for weeks when he returns to us.

Get well, (quicker) Matt-Man!
