I Got Your Craft Right C'here

It’s now a few days after Christmas. What have we learned?

I learned that there are nice people, and some are so insular, that they will find any way to NOT help a brutha out.

I have enjoyed these past few days, because I have discovered the who’s and what not’s.

I like clarity…

I got more than enough clarity from a lonnnnnng time friend.

She wasn’t thrilled with me. She’s a person who practices her “craft”.

I get a case of the goo when people reference, “their craft.”

Acting, singing, writing….Their craft. God, it drives me nuts.

I hate it when someone says, “I’m practicing my craft.” You know why they do it?

It’s because they do not want to admit that like me, they ARE UNEMPLOYED!!

Y’know…I give up. Some people put themselves apart and above of others. I have never done that.

When Jay and I do our somewhat stupid little Blog Talk Radio Show, I always put him first, and he does the same with me when he speaks of it.

We both have egos (although Jay will admit to none of that) but it’s a simple courtesy. It’s a courtesy all should share.

And today, could ya, just not say it but do it, and put someone ahead of your own lame self?

Thank You, and as always…

Cheers!!

I have no "craft" to practice and since I'm retired, I really can't claim I'm unemployed. Underemployed maybe and even that is a stretch.

But as for helping a brotha out, when I'm at the food store, I stop in the aisle and wonder if I could ship some of those dented cans of veggies to a starving Matt-Man. There's love, I tell ya.

I am 'practicing my craft'. It's commenting on blogs. I make 4 sometimes 5 comments a day. Here's one down, four to go.

AND I've picked up BTR listening. There's a crazy show I listen to. It's takes about a day to work up the proper mental state to listen to it. Then it takes 2 - 3 days to get over it.

I'll be practicing my craft right after I watch some videos online right before bed.

Okay, not really.

My craft will be on display at 11 pm EST Thursday night.

Such as it is. haha

Oh and BTW, I'll totally admit to your having an ego. No problem. ;-)

I hope you made it through Christmas without too much distress. No matter what you think of me these days, and I have a pretty good idea, don't think for a minute that I don't think about how your doing.
Wish you well for the new year.

I hate crafts and the people who "practice" them, they're usually messy, dust collectors. Oh, you meant THAT craft. hehe.
