Sunday Morning Church Disservice: Folk Shrinkage

It’s a dreary Sunday morning in Bagwine, Ohio, but the weather should improve soon.

Another 11-7 Sunday peddling beer to the masses. Yippee!! Zzzzzzzzzz.

I woke up late today…a result of too much grog and sex last night.

Okay…too much grog anyway.

I have some advice for all of you. Do not try to get your freak on while listening to a Folk Music Compilation CD.

My mojo was grooving and the Matt-Man unit was good to go last night, when Odetta’s rendition of “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” started playing.

Nice song, but an incredibly effective schlong shrinker. Zowie!!

A Sunday shout out to the family of former White House Press Secretary, Tony Snow. Snow passed away at the age of 53 on Saturday morning.

In spite of his conservative viewpoints, his being was comprised of a liberal amount of decency, zest for life, and love for his family. God Speed, Tony Snow!!

Amen, and Amen…

There will be no COW award this week, and here’s why.

There were far too many insightful, thoughtful, and drop dead funny comments this week. There was no way in hell I could single out just one or even two.

The lack of a COW award this week is a tribute to the nimble intellect and wittiness of all of you Bagwine Heads. I thank you for that.

And now, our Sunday Serenade…

As I am an admirer of the varied talents, smarts, and breastesses of Dolly Parton, and a Mindy Smith fan, why not combine the two? Enjoy!!

See ya ‘round tonight perhaps,
Cheers!!
