Health Food and Puberty

Yes I bought some other stuff, but I thought I would take a picture of some of the more healthy choices that I made at the grocery store. I like to keep my body filled with protein.

I spent some time with my 12 year old son Ryan this morning. He went to the Doctor yesterday to have his shots updated. It's official, he has quite the Sasquatch growth going on and he is in puberty!! But there was some bad news. The nurse said he would probably only grow to be 5 foot 11 inches. He immediately pictured his NBA dream go down in flames. The nurse tried to calm him by saying, "Isn't more about your skills?" Ryan, said, "Well it WOULD be nice to have a combination."

On the upside, he once again proved that he is my son with a display of sarcasm that sounded just like me. He went to his Grandma's after his appointment. Grandma had just colored her hair. His mom asked what color it was and Grandma said, "Golden". Ryno asked Grandma, "Don't you mean Honey Scene Golden?" She asked what he meant. Ryno responded, "Honey, you havent seen golden in years." Bada bing... Evidently everyone laughed but Grandma. Good Boy, Ryno... Cheers All.

Ah geez, that boy is definitely your kid. Poor Grandma! Too damn funny, though - great job, Ryno! Glad he's feeling better after last week's "scare."

Oh, and about the NBA (not that I'm really acknowledging said so-called professional organization after the fiasco of the last two Suns' games [[damn zebras, couldn't call a foul if it walked up and assaulted them]), just remind your son of little 5'3" Muggsy Bogues. Remember him?

Ha...yeah he knows about Mugsy Bogues and he couldnt agree with you more about the calls in the SA Pho series. Cheers Songbird.

Ahh, a fine choice of artery clogging delicacies!

A definite chip of the old block.

At 5'11", he should defintely work on his shot range, his handling skills, and his defense. Quick feet and hands are also key.

Ryan said that to his grandma? Haha! The look on her face when she heard that must've been priceless.

Lisa; What man doesnt appreciate a good fried baloney sandwich? Cheers!!

TB: While the pants may be questionable, as soon as school is out for summer he plans on shaving his head just like dear old Dad.

Cheesy: Bob's is pretty good. And those Sausage patties make the best sandwiches. Just add Velveeta!!

Wayne: Thanks for stopping, and here's to your arteries seizing up on you as well. Cheers!!

Trav: His ball handling skills are not too bad, and with all bias aside he consistently sinks 15-18 foot shots at regulation hoop height!!

Lizza: Oh he has said plenty of good things at her expense, and yet she cant help but loving the little rascal. Cheers!!

OK, you know that you can get the steak Quesadilla rolls in bulk from another brand and they cost the same as those Friday's brand.. and ummm the Ground Chuck Patties don't look like patties at all, but bulk ground chuck.. WTF is up with that?

ROTFLMAO - your son is hysterical and quick witted too.

Careful Matt-man, he'll outwit you in a few years.
