I just had a violent flashback. Those plates are EXACTLY like the ones my parents had when I was growing up. Currier and Ives, right? And my mom used to make beef and noodles.
I had the same Currier & Ives flashback that Desert Songbird had -- my grandparents had those dishes when I was growing up! Your noodles & beef looks mighty tasty!

Scary.
Umm what's sitting there at 3 o'clock? Is it a biscuit? Or is it mashed potato cakes?
Lovely presentation!

LOL Matty--where's the biscuit making?? Come on that's a SKILL!!
Hey Matt! Make me some for dinner!! My husband's the king of lunchmeat when dinner is his job!
Christ, that looks like carb heaven. My hungover brain needs some of that, STAT!
That looks so good! Damn I might have to cook tomorrow.
Songbird: We are twins of different mothers!!
Julie: Yes it's a biscuit. As far as worrying about presentation, what the hell...my stomach doesnt care what it looks like.
TB: I didnt think that banging a can of Pillsbury Grands against the counter would make for an interesting shot ; )
Metalmom: Lunchmeat meals are an art. I make a damn good fried bologna sandwich.
Allie: Indeed. I try to avoid them but today I just broke down. Cheers Baby!!
Aisby: No need to cook. I Fed-Exed you the leftovers. Cheers!!
