Guess Who's Coming to Stupid?

Happy Hump Day Bitches, now let’s get down to some serious business.

Look at this picture…

It’s a picture of Jayman and myself that we sometimes use for our I’m With Stupid Blog Talk Radio show.

Now, we have some folks that listen and join in on the radio fun with regularity, however, Jay and I have noticed something about our audience that we’d like to correct.

You see, while not an actual picture of our typical audience, the following is probably pretty damn representative of the cultural demographic of said audience…

As you can see, while there is an occasional visit from a lovely Latina babe (not pictured), the hosts and typical audience for I’m With Stupid are bland, generic, white men and women.

Jayman and I discussed in our pre-production meeting that we want to be more inclusive when it comes to our audience so eventually a typical cross-section of the IWS audience looks more like this…

It shouldn’t be that hard to find a couple of black people to join in and add a little soul to the stupid. After all, black people mock the stupid just like us white folk.

And just like the white demographic, there are plenty of black people who ARE stupid as well, like Latoya Jackson, Chris Brown, and of course Sherri Shepherd of The View…

Another reason it shouldn’t be too hard to draw in a black audience is because of Jay and me. I mean, just like Donald Trump, we are good with the black…we are cool with the black…in fact, we are down with the black.

So that is your assignment folks…Help Jay and I bring a black person to the dinner table of humor that is I’m With Stupid.

Hell, if you find one who is interested but needs a little coaxing, tell him or her that if they promise to show up for a show, we will for that episode re-title our show, I B Wif Stupid ‘n’ Shit.

If they call in and/or are really funny and/or interesting we could even put them to work as a regular on I’m With Stupid.

You know…something like a weekly question/answer segment called...Aks R Token.

Oh yeah, I’m sensing a wave of cultural diversity that will wash all over I’m With Stupid.

If you find a black person who perhaps would like to speak with Jay or myself prior to any type of commitment, have them e-mail either one of us and encourage the person of color to use our names that the bruthas and sistahs in the ’hood call us…

M Squared Rose, and J-Bone Thug.

We appreciate your help in this matter of helping bring people of all races closer together.

Hopefully, we can get this done for Saturday’s show which airs May 14th at 6:30 PM EDT, when we will discuss graduations and school antics, but more on that and a special IWS announcement tomorrow.

Now get out there, and rustle us up some black people; the future of IWS and racial harmony is at stake.

Cheers, and Word!!

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: His Dream Lives On...

Today is the day we in the United States observe the birthday, and honor the life and accomplishments of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Rev. King spent his entire life trying to mold this nation and indeed the world into a place where all people are created equal and are judged not by the color of their skin, but rather the content of their character.

He was a leader defined by his own words as being one who is not a searcher of consensus, but a molder of consensus.

King was courageous, intelligent, and an unwavering force in the civil rights movement. He broke down barriers that confronted the black community in this country.

His eloquence is exceeded only by accomplishments in tearing down those barriers, and while his life was cut short by an assassin’s bullet in 1968, his eloquence and legacy live on through others who have built upon King’s vision and have continued his dream…

Rev. Jesse Jackson has continued King’s dream of understanding and unity by calling Jews, “hymies”, accusing Barack Obama of being “too white”, and fathering an illegitimate child.

As King said, “A man can’t ride your back unless it’s bent.”

Knowing this quote well, Jackson evidently hooked up with a straight chick and rode her from the front.

Decades after his death, King’s message of racial and cultural harmony still echoes whenever Rev. Al Sharpton speaks. This is very evident when Sharpton speaks on the importance of education as he did at Kean College in 1994:

“White folks was in caves while we was building empires...We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”

Damn straight, Al!!

Gary Coleman, Jimmie J.J. Walker, and The View co-host Sherri Shepherd, are proof positive that black Americans, like many of their white counterparts, need no talent in order to have a career in the entertainment industry.

King’s words, live on not only in the collective consciousness of America’s black population. His words live on in the action of white Americans as well.

Nearly every day, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her idolaters remind us all of something King said long ago…

“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

His words and vision certainly do transcend time and race. It’s a shame that he didn’t live long enough to see and hear these people distort continue his dream and his work.

He would be proud of these folks, but he would be even more proud of the fact that a light skinned African-American who has no negro dialect unless he wanted to have one, was elected President of the United States.

Yeah…King’s determination, courage, vision, and eloquence sure do live on in our times, don’t they?

Cheers!!
