My oh my those Kidney Beans last night were so very good. But already, I sense that my colon is becoming confused by the lack of meat. We are thawing out here in Bagwine, Ohio temps in the 40s. Spring will soon be here and the crack dealers and hookers will be able once again to display their wares on the streets. God Bless capitalism.
I have no idea what my post will be about later. I have so many rudimentary ideas bouncing around that I can’t focus on just one. One thing I AM certain about is tonight’s meatless menu. Tonight, the Holy Spirit will be coursing through my digestive system in the form of salad with Ranch dressing and a piping hot bowl of Potato soup. Yum-Oh and Amen.
By the way thanks to those of you who have voted on my online survey (the idea of which I copied from Mo). It is nice to know that I have a large chunk of the Masochist population enjoying my posts.
Until later today…Cheers

I've been a Vegetarian all my life.
Check out the morningstar farms products in the freezer section of the grocery store. The Griller original, sausage patties and hot dogs are really good.
Boca brauts are excellent too.
I would try them Hammer, but I dont even want to eat fake meat. It would be like I am being insincere. Good Lord did I just say that!? Cheers...
I'm laughing my butt off thinking about how hard core you are with this Lenten deprivation thing, Matty. You amaze me! Did you get your ashes yesterday? I did, but as usual, I wiped them off rather than wear my "stain" all day. I'm just not that...devout.
Took your little poll, baby. BTW, I should remind you that my post this morning is about my "fantasy" pool occupants. How likely am I to meet Julian McMahon or Pierce Brosnan? You, on the other hand...
Well, your deprivation is my deprivation!!! **sigh**
And get this Songbird, the only other "food" I have the rest of the day is water and coffee. One meal at night. And yes I got my ashes, but I put them on myself. I'll accept your pool explanation ; )
HA...It'll be alright odat. It will bring us both closer to the salvation we desperately need...Okay maybe not.
You've foregone meat in the past--you know your colon and the rest of your body will adjust. It just hurts a bit at the start before it starts getting better, right? ;-)
Um yeah Lizza, right. And by the way if you wish me anymore meat filled dreams...I'll, I'll...well, curl up and cry.
Yay! Now I have a Tom Lehrer song in my head!! :)

I'm glad I'm a savage pagan...
None of that "giving up" stuff for mo!
I'm having a SAUSAGE calzone for lunch today in your honor Matt-man.
Mmmmmmm...

Gee...Thanks Mo, your heart felt action of ingesting sauasage makes me feel so warm, so appreciated.
