Sunday Morning Church Disservice: Christ Is Risen, So Fry Me Some Bacon

Easter Morning in lovely Bagwine, Ohio…

Jeebus has risen and he has already been spotted rummaging through the dumpster behind the Fazoli’s on East Main St.

Resurrecting one's self can work up a powerful appetite.

It has been 46 days and 10 pounds ago since this body has enjoyed the taste of meat.

I am ready to cast away the painful solitude of my meatless exile. Beat the drums and heat up the frying pan, salvation is at hand.

I will be taking pictures of my culinary orgy today as well as pics of my freshly shaved head.

That’s it for now my friends. I must go now and heat up my first dish of the day: Loosemeat!!

I'll be back later with a picture or two today...

Today’s Easter Sunday Serenade was inspired by newish Bagwine friend, Lu.

In a comment she left last night, she asked if I ever listen to Tom Lehrer.

Lu, Tom Lehrer is a most revered figure within the Bagwine household. Schmoop and I are HUGE fans.

So without further adieu, a clip of Mr. Lehrer performing The Vatican Rag.

Happy Easter and Cheers!!

In your honour (not really, but don't you feel special now?!), we will be having bacon for breakfast, ham for lunch and big juicy porterhouse steaks for dinner. Let the MeatFest begin!

I was nice and didn't even torture you during lent... see what I gave up for MY salvation?

Be prepared to be inundated with squirrels bitch!
