I've got a serious issue goin' on with Ryno so Bagwine Ruminations will be shut down today.
I also had a major disagreement with Schmoop last night over what constitutes good music.
But, we did agree that this song falls into the, "it's so bad that it's good" genre.
Cheers!!

Hope you get everything with Ryno worked out okay.
And whatever you and Schmoop had a disagreement bout, she's right and you're wrong. ;-)
Jay: Ha...Spoken like a true Viking. Cheers Jay!!
My first comment got dumped. Hmpf.
Anyway, I said don't be too hard on Ryno. It would be like punishing yourself. Wait...you might like that too much...
I used to have The Sweet's Desolation Boulevard; I loved this song.
Oh, and I loved Tia Carrere's version on Wayne's World 2. It kicked ass.
That song is better when I don't have to look at the band.
Good luck with Ryno and Schmoop.
ah teenagers....
I spent the day with The Cub up in San Francisco getting his 18 year old ass a new passport.
teenage boys...
sheesh
I feel I need to know the argument now.
By mistake I clicked on the video and got to the YouTube page. Every time I read a comment on a YouTube video I get sad.
Hope things settle down or pick up ... whichever is most appropriate!
Would you look at those guys, HA ha ha. Here's hoping...
Songbird: My son is going through another bout of cranius in butticus. Cheers!!
Travis: Y'know...that is an excellent point. It is better when there is no video. Cheers!!
Kat: He has, unlike when I was his age, learned how to be a funny goofball AND still complete his school work in a timely and accurate manner. Cheers Kat!!
I didn't expect to be up and dancing so early this morning, but that songs does it to me.
Hope things work out with Schmoop--and you teach her what good music is.
PITS: Ha. Don't be sad. The argument was once again about the musical contributions of the Bay City Rollers. Cheers!!
Dana: Thanks. If he can't play basketball because of his grades maybe that will finally kick him in his ass. Cheers Dana!!
Lu: Thanks. They dress like I do everyday. I just don't go out in public like that. ; ) Cheers!!
Fantasy: 8:15 in the morn and already shakin' your money maker, eh? I can dig that. Cheers Meg!!
...here's the deal with music: If I like it, it's good...or, to paraphrase thou: "It's good, because I like it"...
Phfrankie: Ha. Well said. Cheers P-Man!!
Poor Ryno doesn't know what he's doing to himself....and his parents.
I like the song. "Alriiiight Fellas!"
Knight: You are exactly right. He makes things so much harder on himself because of sluffing off simple things. God, it's frustrating.
Yeah, the song isn't awful. I refused to play their "Little Willy" song. That strikes too close to home. Cheers Knight!!
I can imagine what you are dealing with Sir...having dealt with a teen boy...ugh sometimes...
The song? Hell, I can't see videos here at work, so I have no clue...
Bond: He's being a bonehead. It's frustrating. And the song? It's Ballroom Blitz by Sweet. Cheers Vinny!!
Teen boys are always boneheads dad....
Oh, ummm yeah you are right - so bad it is good...
Bond: Oh he's a frustrating little shit, but I love him. And yeah, Sweet is a hoot in a bad/ good kinda way. Cheers Vin!!
With my oldest approaching eleven the bonehead, hormone induced years are just around the corner. Hope things get back on track for Ryno soon.
As for the song. . . it's definitely a toe tapper, but I haven't seen that much make-up used since Tammy Fay Baker was in her prime. Yikes!
Jeff: I hope he gets back on track too. And Ha, I had forgotten about Tammy Faye...I miss her. Cheers, Funny Man!!
Sorry to hear about the issues with Ryno. Teenage boys...oy! But you're a great dad - I'm sure you'll get him turned around.
Sweet ROCKS!
Giggle: He's such a lovable bonehead. He has priority problems. I hope we can work on that. Cheers!!
Heh. "Priority problems." Ask my how my morning went today. I can totally relate.
Sweet is AWESOME and Ballroom Blitz is the SHIZ and NITZ.
The Krokus cover is dandy good as well =)
Hope all is well with Ryno.
Yikes! A real head in buttus moment indeed!
Just remember, you were his age once. And a butthead...
Apologize to Schmoop.
What's wrong with that song?
They must've woken up one morning and said, "I wanna dress up like a cheap red sofa, and I wanna dress up like a green fairy. And yeah, I wanna have carefully coiffed hair."
it does get better! or they get older
my son survived and thrived - and he's still alive at 35
hugs to all
Hope you sorted it out OK.
Hell would you look at that! They look so gai, and I thought they were sexy when I was 10 LOL.
