Sunday Morning Church Disservice: Transitions

I have but a short post on this Sabbath.

I’m working 11-7 and then of course, headed over to see my adorable little pin head in order to help him with math after that.

I’ll be tied up on Monday for awhile as well, dealing with HOSPITAL BILLS and work, but after that, guess what?

I think I’ll be ready to go and get back to being normal. No, I won’t be 100% but I think I’ll be close to my normal blog schedule and practices.

I know…Much like you, I am excited as well. Contain yourselves.

It’s funny…

Over this seven week ordeal I have discovered so much about others and myself as well.

Some people are far better people than they come off to be, and others? Well, they are far less than what they appear to be.

Or in some cases, sadly, they come off to be exactly who and what they really are.

As for me?

I have much more vulnerability as a human being than I ever realized. I have much less patience and tolerance with and for myself than I ever did.

And…

I have much more appreciation for those around me, and for people in general.

Here’s to a new tomorrow. Even after a long day, let’s hope that come tomorrow, things are back to normal for me and for all of you. In fact…

My wish for you on this Sunday is that tomorrow begins a life that is full of nothing but surprises that bring only smiles, heart palpitations that are brought on by excitement, and tears that are brought on by joy.

In order to finalize this transition and jump start my move back into the world of fun and funk, I summon one of my favorite bands of all time…

Blackfoot!! Crank It Bitches!!

Amen, and Amen!!

Cheers!!

...I can sense that you are plugged in to the cosmic/galctic/universal/Al Gore/Time Warp of Trancendental Love...and I've caught your vibe...

Swell homily, truly words to live by. You've got a great outlook. Have a great week!

I hate ambiguity. So, am I less, more, or the same as I appear to be? I want names, phone numbers and addresses of everyone on all three lists. Just in the interests of full disclosure, you understand.

I can’t possibly explain how much I understand the feeling of vulnerability. Not just with health but with the human condition. As you know I grew up kind of poor, made something of myself, and then lost it all due to a bad divorce. Having no living relatives, I had nowhere to turn and was both disgusted with the indifference from some people who I thought were my friends, and shocked by others kindness and love. I’m glad that you are almost healthy again, there’s nothing like lack of health to drive home reality.

Love- back at you!

I don't know that I would have ever considered using Matt-Man and "normal" in a post together, but it's your lie. You live it if you want to *wink*

Dana: Lie? LIE? I beg your pardon. It's all true...because I believe it. You seem more amusing of late. Why is that? ; ) Cheers Dana!!

What a wonderful Sunday (or any day), wish! I wish surprises, smiles, and heart palpitations for you, too! (I'm thinkin' after a day filled with medical billing, you'll have way more palpitations and tears than you'll be wantin', though! Ack!)

Loved the Blackfoot! Ironically, Steve put "harmonicas" on his Christmas list! Ha!

Best not to expect much from anyone, then you're dissapointed way less and pleasantly surprised way more often. Rely on yourself, you're, your own best bet.

Candice: I have my sensitive moments, just ask my parole officer. Cheers Candice!!

Rat: Oh yeah, tomorrow should be a barrel of laughs. If Santa bring Steve a harmonica make sure he learns this song. Cheers Rat!!

Micky: I've tried that; it just isn't in my DNA. I still have too much faith in people. Cheers Mick!!
