Is Jesus a Big Mary?

I found out something funny last night.

Jeebus pees, sitting down...No shit, he really does.

He stopped by Sunday night to watch some hoops with me and toss back a few.

After a couple of cold ones, Jeebus said, “Damn, I broke the Holy Seal, Matt-Man, I gots to piss.”

So he went to take a leak. Shortly after that, I slobbered some chip dip on my shirt so I went to the bedroom to change shirts.

On my way, I walked past the bathroom and lo and behold…The bathroom door was wide open and there was Jeebus, sittin’ on the can takin’ a leak.

After I did a double take, I shook my head like a Tex Avery cartoon character and asked…

“What in God’s name are you doing, Jeebus!?”

He said, “What the Hell’s it look like? I’m sittin’ on the throne takin’ a piss. LOL.”

I said, “Yeah, but…I mean, c’mon. You’re the Son of God and you’re taking a leak like a woman, for God’s sake.”

Jeebus responded...

“Don’t use my father’s name when speaking of my vein. LOL. Seriously Matt-Man, it’s much easier this way.

I can just lose the robe, sit, and piss. Trying to hold up the robe and grab hold of my Johnson while pissing, leads to a wet floor and urine soaked clothing.”

After thinking about what he said, I could only conclude that he was dead on correct. He wears a robe. He’s got a huge schlong (He is Jeebus after all), and I know for a fact that he’s a neat freak.

He told me once that the real reason he chased the moneychangers from the Temple wasn’t because they were charging people to worship God.

It was because they refused to use coasters under their wine glasses. Oh yeah, Jeebus likes to keep things tidy.

Anyhoo…I told him to keep the door closed next time, because I didn’t want Schmoop to wake up and see Jeebus sitting there making a sound like a sacred cow pissin’ on a rock of ages.

After that, Jeebus had one more beer and had to get going. He said to me…

“I’d stay for another, but I am frickin’ hungry. Ya wanna go grab a couple of Burrito Supremes at the Bell, my treat? Oh that’s right…You’re doing that meatless thing again for Lent. Man, it sucks to be you. LOL.”

With that, I laughed, we High-Fived, and then he left, laughing all the way. What a Merry Messiah he is.

Just 20 days left of this meatless stint folks, and then I’ll go and get that damn burrito. AND I’ll eat bacon and sausage right in front of jocular Jeebus as well.

Let’s see how much laughing Hebrew-Boy will be doing then.

Cheers!!

Blood Clots and Bacon

Let me preface this post by reiterating that Schmoop started her period early Sunday morning...

When I came home from work yesterday ...From the day's mail, Schmoop handed me this package that had come from CVS Pharmacy, and she said to me, "Define Irony."

Whatever could be the irony within the contents?

Okay, what exactly fits? Wow, how did they know?

Nothing like receiving a uterine care package in the mail from your friendly CVS pharmacist...

Well since I was off last night, and the Schmoopster was feeling bad, I cooked something that I know she loves...BLT's.

I placed the bacon on a foiled pan and put it into a 450 Degree oven...

Schmoop and I decided to use buns instead of white bread...Yeah, we are rebels that way!!

The thick cut bacon came out minutes later in dandy, greasy form...

And here is how they came out when dressed...Yum-Frickin'-Oh!!

Have a great Tuesday all, and remember...Nirvana, is merely a Bagwine Fifth and a BLT away.

Cheers!!

Sunday Morning Church Disservice: The REAL Origins of Christianity

Three weeks from today we will celebrate the miracle of Jeebus Christ Superstar givin’ a big ol’ fuck you to the Romans and the Jews by rising from the dead.

Joyous liturgical events will take place across this big blue marble of ours.

I will honor JC’s return, and the end of my 46 meatless days of Lent, with a communion of orgasmic oral pleasure.

I will feast upon greasy hamburgers, meatballs, SPAM, and of course, bacon.

Bacon specifically, and pork in general, was the genesis of the Christian faith.

You see, back in the day, some of those of the Jewish persuasion, were sick and tired of not being able to enjoy a big, delicious Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich during a lazy summer day.

They were also pissed that unlike non-Jews, they weren’t allowed to purchase a tasty bratwurst or a Philistine-sized pork tenderloin sandwich from the concession stand at the weekly crucifixion events.

One day, a novice miracle maker named Jesus, said, “Screw the Pharisees, I want a Ham and Swiss on Rye…But hold the mayo; it truly gives me the runs.”

On that day, a new religion was born, as was the first delicatessen.

From near and far, rebellious Jews craving a hot piece of pig came to follow this man we know as Jesus.

The masses were drawn to him by his love of the porcine flesh. It didn’t hurt that he could change water into wine either.

The Bible is a great piece of literature, but if you want the truth, come to the Matt-Man.

And now, let us bow our heads and pray…

Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

Father, give Matt-Man the strength to complete his final three weeks of meatlessness and find salvation Easter Morning lying at the bottom of his plate of Corned Beef Hash.

Lastly, O’ Heavenly Hot Shot, please allow the religious experience that took place at the Bagwine abode last night, happen again today.

For all of this, Lord hear our prayer.

Amen, and Amen.

Today’s Sunday Serenade comes courtesy of a guy who is now with Lord. I have never been a big country music fan, but I do so love a good voice.

So, while I go off to help Ryno with a science project, enjoy the great vocals of Conway Twitty as he does a little late 50's be-bop prayin’ of his own.

Cheers!!
