My Sunday In Pictures

I don’t do this often, but I have a more personal, “Get to Know Matty-Boy” post today.

What follows is a snapshot of what I did yesterday. It was a pleasant Sunday, and I shall share it with you.

First of all, I got a late start but I took breakfast to Ryno and his mom, and this is what I was greeted with…

Ryno’s class went to King’s Island Friday and he just had to have that hat. He said to me…

“Dad, this hat is a chick magnet. A group of five girls wanted to have their picture taken with me. I of course, obliged.”

Holy Cow…He used the word “obliged”. I like that. As soon as those braces come off, he is gonna be deadly. I love the little shit.

Ryno and I shot some hoops and while we doing so, I took some pictures of the house…You know…the house that used to be mine.

And as we were talking, he drained 13 in a row from 15+ feet out. Anyhoo…

Here’s a picture of part of the front yard that used to be mine…Mmmmmm, I like that.

You can see some red flowers in the background of the previous picture…here’s a close-up…of some, what are called, “Knock Out Roses”.

After my visit, I came back home and Schmoop and I went on a mission…It’s seems that Tommy Tutone has hit rock bottom.

He is now going to be singing Jenny 867-5309 in Bagwine, Ohio on the 29th at a dump known as the Key West Lounge…

If he had Schmoop as a back up singer he’d at least be adding some sexiness to his act…Well, if she by then, wasn’t ragging.

I also went to a place called Gordon Food Marketplace. This chain markets mainly to restaurants, but they are open to the public.

My brother Marty and his wife had given me a gift card for Christmas and I finally made my way out there. I bought for Schmoop and I, a huge ass chunk of Colby Jack, a dozen buns, and 15 1/3 pound sirloin burgers…

I made a Parmesan Pasta salad and cooked two, Swiss Cheese and Bacon burgers for Schmoop, because while she is a bit of a waif, when Schmoop is raggin’, she eats like Elizabeth Taylor devours both a Vegas smorgasbord and husbands…

She really dug the burgers, but I wish since her basement was flooding, I would have made something more topical, like chili dogs. Alas…

I will be working in the heat from 10-9 both Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday?

I shall release my list of the five Bloggers that I would definitely make my next wife. I know…

Many of you are excited, mainly because you would rather find yourself NOT on the list…Tough. You may end up on it.

Cheers!!

Mandy: Indeed I did, and it sounds as though you did as well. And yeah, the flowers are pretty...But they used to be prettier. ; ) Cheers mandy!!

I just love it when you share your flora with us.

Dana: My flora is your flora. There's plenty in front, that are a type of lily that haven't bloomed yet. I thought they would have, but they will soon. Cheers Dana!!

Oh please please Jeebus keep me off that list!

Mike: Too late, you big, sexy man. Cheers Mike!!

Ryno is way too tall to be a leprechaun but I agree; that hat is a chick magnet.

You had a nice house Matt, looked a lot like the one I had. Too many ‘had’s huh?

Ground sirloin burgers are the best. I’m really, really jealous right now.

Scott: The little shit is only a shade shorter than I am now. Yeah the house, while not big is pretty damn nice, but hey, I cover my hurt by taking pictures of Schmoop standing in front of shit-hole bars. Cheers Scott!!

I'm looking forward to reading that list...

Do I detect a hint of bitterness when you speak of your old place? If so, good for you. You did a lovely job on those gardens.

Uhhhh..as cute as Ryno is I really wouldn't call that hat a chick magnet or maybe it's just me.

Doc: And just think my good man, you were my inspiration. Cheers Doc!!

Michele: Eh, I miss it only at times. But yes, I truly miss working in the yard. And the hat?

It's not just you; it's me as well, but...Whatever works in order to pick up the babes. Cheers Michele!!

I would have assumed that Ryno would view wearing that hat in public as a fate worse than death...I's been a very long time since I was a teen so what do I know?

The yard looks georgeous.

That is a nice looking house and yard. Very well kept.

Ryno will have to break that out every March 17th.

Good thing Gordon's does sell WIR or you wouldn't have gotten any food at all. ;-)

House looks great Matt. Are you still doing that work?

Lovin the food... Married bloggers are eligible for this list? Pay no attention to the hypothetical bills I just tucked in your waistband... just wondering.

I love the picture of your son. That is funny!

Ole'!

David: What can I say? The bot is a natural born comedian. when I picked him up last week from school he came out wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mask. Cheers David!!

Jay: Thanks and Ha. The only draw back is that as primarily a restaurant supplier the majority of food is in huge qtys. So room in our freezer is a problem. Cheers Jay!!

Micky: Thanks, but so far this year other than my OCD kicking in because I see a weed that needs pulled, Ryno and his mom do it all w/ a little help from her brother. Cheers Mick!!

Marilyn: The burgers are pretty damn good. And yes...I have considered everyone who stops by Bagwine with any regularity regardless of marital status. Cheers Marilyn!!

Warrior: He's such a ham...and in this case, an Irish Ham. Love the Ole'. Cheers Kat!!

Oh God! I have had that 867-5309 all day in my head and I don't know what! I hadn't even read this yet!
