Cassano's Comes Through...Thanks Kate!!

Ha.

It’s Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiday.

Normally I would be incredibly happy, but I am going to go back to work today.

Some of you have read about my plight this week.

My feud with the pizza place…my cracked ribs…my son trying to conjure up a Science Project at the last minute.

Well, let’s recap.

Cassano’s CALLED and gave us an additional $20.00 credit.

So, we have not only the $20.00 gift certificate, we now also have an additional $20.00 worth of free Cassano’s pizza.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Kate at Cassano’s for calling me and making things right. THAT my friends is customer service.

Kate was top notch, and I will relay that observation to the Corporate office as well.

And, as I said, even in spite of the conundrum…Cassano’s makes a great pie. (Sorry Bill, but I like their’s too.)

My ribs? Not so good. But, I now I have a compression thingy, courtesy of Drive-By Mike, so things will be what they will be.

I’ll just have to suck it up and sling the beer.

Lastly, my kid’s Science Fair project, in which he waited far too long, and in my injured state, I helped him with yesterday…

In spite of himself and his procrastination, he was in the top 5 and he and his project will be going to the county-wide Science fair.

In fact, with a few adjustments he was told by the judges, he may have come in First Place.

However, I am not overly happy, because he could have done so much more and we (and yes, I said we) pulled this thing off with smoke and mirrors.

Don’t get me wrong, he did most of the work, but I stayed on his ass, and even in my injured state, berated him yesterday, in order to finish the damn thing.

He’s 14.

Never again, will I help to save his ass in this manner. I just hope his Mom, who agrees with me, will have the strength enough to do the same.

Sounds easy, but it ain’t. You want to do all you can. Whenever you can.

Wish me and my ribs luck at work today.

Cheers!!

P.S. A Valentine’s song for all of you fine women (and you too, Phfrankie). Have a great, and hopefully sweet ass Valentine's weekend all.

La Prova รจ nel Gusto...True, But When?

As some of you may know, I have not had the best of luck of late.

My kid is struggling with priorities. Schmoop has been cut back to 3 days.

I got rejected by Bob and Tom, and cracked my left side ribs.

So, in order to pick our spirits up and forget the bad things for awhile, we decided to order a pizza delivered to the warm confines of the Bagwine digs.

That’s right, we decided to have free pizza delivered from Cassano’s courtesy of a Birthday gift certificate I received from my brother Marte’ and his wife just the other day.

Well, thirty minutes after Schmoop called our order in, someone from Cassano’s called back…

To tell us that our order was on the way? To tell us to enjoy the pie? Hahahahaha (Matt-Man laughed with both angst and anger.)

Nooooooo, to tell us that our certificate card was not going through.

That’s fine. Schmoop read it off again, and after another few minutes and another phone call, read it again along with the PIN Number.

No Luck…However!!

At this point, Cassano’s told Schmoop that since the card number isn’t “coming up” if she was to come in, they would give her a 25 PERCENT DISCOUNT!!

Woo Hoo!! What a deal…

Getting 25% off of a pizza that is FREE!! WTF!?

I love Cassano’s. Schmoop loves Cassano’s. Hell, Mick has been here and HE loves Cassano’s. But…

They screwed us, and they screwed us at a point in my banged up rib life that I can’t accept. It has frickin’ ticked me off.

Things have not gone well of late, and this incident just topped things off. I like good customer service. It’s a lost art.

Y’know? As much as Drive-By Mikey, Pizza Bill, and I chuckle and cut up at the Drive-Thru, as long as you are not an asshole, you get A-1 customer service.

(Hell, if you’re a hot chick, you can get hot sex as well. Free!! But seriously…)

Where has customer service gone? 25% off of an already paid for pizza? But only if you pick it up?

Cassano’s, I am very disappointed.

I e-mailed Cassano’s, and hopefully they will make this right. If not?

Well…if they don’t, I will never buy pizza from them again, and that is no little thing, because we do like their pie…a lot.

Cheers!!

Just Call Me Cupid

Four Days Left!! Four days until Valentine's Day, Bitches. Better get your freak on if you want to impress the one you love.

It is hard however...what does a guy get his love?

Candy? Borrrrring, and it will go straight to your lover's hips.

Flowers? Roses die and are overpriced.

How about a Vermont Teddy Bear?

Puhleeeeeze. I see commericals for these stupid things every February.

It's a stuffed animal for God's sake. Unless, you're some pervert who is in love with an 8 year old girl, I think not.

In fact, the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. should rename themeselves, Pedophiles Direct!!

I know that Schmoop likes perfume...She really likes White Diamonds...

It does smell pretty good on her, but why stop at a good smelling neck and face? I could also get her a big can of Fem Fresh!! She'd smell great where it really counts...

I may as well go all the way...If her neck, wrists, and hoo-ha are a combination of wondrous scents, why not get her something me and the boys use at work?

Damn Straight!! I'll throw in a can of Ass Cleaner for her...um...can. As you can see, the best thing about this Ass Cleaner...It's Streakless!!

That is a bit much and she might gather from that troika of gifts that I think she stinks.

Perhaps I could get her something that I have always wanted to buy.

The Inflatable Bondage Chair...

Nothing says love like Air-Cushioned simulated rape and abuse. But alas, her and I would bust a hole in that thing in no time flat.

I wouldn't mind trying to get something "cute" for her this year, but not a Vermont Teddy Bear.

In spite of her 125 pound frame she does like to eat...but not candy so much.

Hmmmmmm? I need to find something cute that she could eat. How about this?

It is an adorable lookin' baloney...thingy...loaf with a smiley face. I think while cute, it might freak her out. It is after all, kinda clown lookin'.

I think I'll know what I'll do.

I'll use a gift certificate that I received for my birthday and get us something both her and I can sink our teeth into with Valentine's Day glee.

A special Heart-Shaped Pizza from one of Bagwine, Ohio's favorite pizza places, Cassano's.

Yeah that's the ticket; she'll love it...With this idea, I can not only have my pie, I'll get to eat it too.

Cheers!!
