My BFF/OSP Schmoop for the first time ever, exhibited typical PMS traits last night. It freaked me out. She has never done that before. I still find her incredibly cute, because…

I’m getting tired with Twitter…The funny parts of it do not make up for the “look at me” and the self-induced drama that occur.

This week, Dim Bulb Charlie attacked the public employees in Wisconsin, and said that taking away their rights to have a union was much needed.

I love the Charlie, and his readers, especially a chick named Sandee who was a public sector employee until she retired who said this:

The dems (sic) want everything equal then why aren't these folks paying the same freight as the average American? Greed. Plain and simple. They need to put on their big girl panties and be thankful they have a job.

After I pointed out her public service pension, she said this:

I'm not going to feel guilty about cashing my check each month either. Never have and never will.

Oh and thanks to my retirement check I can travel across this county and go on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. Life is grand. :)

Seriously…Is it just me; or am I stupid, and missing something? I used to work for the State of Ohio.

You know why I quit? Because I didn’t do a damn thing, and wanted out, and yet, Charlie and his ilk give me shit. Un-fucking-believable. With that being said…

Most public workers as it should be noted, are hard working just like you, looking down the nose private sector workers, so suck it.

Uncle Charlie? He’s a moron from the get go. His readers are all Glenn Beck wannabes.

They all hate Obama and everything he tries to do. Even if Obama found a cure for every form of cancer known to man, they wouldn't like it, because…

Well, that would be government involvement…Anyhoo…for his wife, Miss Bee…She may may be more of moron than Charlie.

Schmoop says to me, “Why do you bother yourself with these idiots? They are small potatoes.”

To which I always say, “I shall leave no asshole unturned.” I just can’t help myself.

Well, the other day, I saw that Miss Bee said the following, relating to a conversation that she had with some friends:

First of all…fuck Israel. The government, not the people. Israel which is allegedly a “successful” democracy, is nothing more than an American shekel pit. Let God save them.

Secondly…Miss Bee is a hypocrite, a jerk, and an asshole, and here’s why…

I commented on Charlie’s site about her post and told him, her, and their readers, that they are pretty much nothing but hate-filled assholes…in a nice way of course. And, I got this…

After yet another infantile, and ideological post by Bagwine’s favorite crazy man, Uncle Charlie, another fave crazy person, in the toxic personification of “Amazing Gracie” chimed in with the above comment on Charlie’s uber-rightwing site.

Yes, I know…These idiots are small potatoes. Instead of uber-tubers, they are kinder-tubers, but nonetheless, I felt that Gracie’s comment was so, um…stupid..?

No, that’s not the right word…Um…So fucking hateful, oblivious, and mindless that I had to comment.

Gracie in all of her self-proclaimed Christianity, we should turn Afghanistan into a Glass Factory, God Loves Us Best Bullshit, thinks that our slaves were better off than others.

Does she really, as she implied, think that slavery was better in America because of some ill-conceived notion that "our" slaves were fed, clothed, and um…educated?

Did the slaves go to slave school? Did they get a degree in bondage?

Okay, maybe the house niggers did, but unless a slave was cleaning Uncle Tom’s cabin, did that education really come in handy?

President Obama and Communism: Holy Cow, I Never Knew He Had All That Power!!

I have a problem with my country. Indeed I have a problem with all of America. We are on the brink of losing our democracy.

The thing is…

It is not because of President Obama…It is not because of most Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

Hell, it’s not even because of Glenn Beck, Keith Olbermann, and other propagandists who appear 24/7 on Cable TV.

No, my friends…

We are losing our glorious democracy because, well…Americans are stupid, and they have a herd mentality. Well, not all, but a sizeable minority do. And, it is fucking up our country.

There is a website I read more than once a day because I am a “folk hero” there because I leave comments that run against their grain. That’s right, it’s a site called Sarge Charlie.

The guy is a hoot. He’s a Vietnam Vet and as you know, Vietnam Vets are untouchable when it comes to love for their country.

They love their country more than you and I, and…many of them are just flat out, insufferable.

In fact, along with many Beck-Tards, many "patriotic" Vietnam Vets think Obama is a spineless weasel, who knows nothing about the military. Take for instance, Ol’ Sarge….

Ol’ Sarge would say that if Obama took a crap, he didn’t wipe his ass correctly. And, if Obama blew his nose, he would say, “Did you see how he directed that sneeze towards a Vietnam Vet?”

Hey Charlie…while you are getting treated for your affliction (which I hope you beat) on the government dime, why don’t you tell people how much you hate government health care?

This wacko chick, who claims to be a Christian, imparted her wisdom on how the U.S. should deal with Afghanistan, and here is her well-developed foreign policy plan:

“The Afghanis are fierce, always have been. We need to give notice ahead of time and then bomb the holy hell out of them. We already know they’ll put babies and women on the front lines.”

I guess giving them notice first, is her idea of Christianity.

Call me crazy, but I thought if we were trying to instill democracy into a country, turning said country into a glass factory wouldn't be the best way to go about that.

Of course, I am but a novice in affairs such as this, but that plan seems silly, unless of course, one is heavily invested in Mason jar futures.

Oy…My point is, is that these Beck-Tards think Obama is going to turn our country into some type of Soviet state.

If they think that Obama is that powerful, doesn’t that suggest that they don’t believe in the power of our Constitution and the separation of powers? Uh-Huh…

Who among us, doesn’t believe in our democracy? Evidently it isn’t me. It’s those two “patriots” and millions like them.

Anyhoo…Schmoop told me to let all of this go. She said that these people aren’t worth it…And she’s right.

However…

Just like I need to call out a jerk who thinks that all that I am is a schmuck who works at a Beer Drive-Thru, I need to call out the stupid that exists in this country.

I’m much more than a schmuck, and this country is much more than a land of morons.

The informed majority, whether they agree with this administration or not, need to speak up…and speak out. And most importantly, do it in a learned way.

Sarge Charlie: An American Zero

As I sit here typing this, I sit with a smile upon my face.

Let me tell you though…it’s a smile of enigmatic consternation and a upwardly hooked lip look of disbelief.

I just don’t get some people.

If you were around yesterday, you saw that Schmoop talked about our cat and how said cat hates her. It was somewhat amusing.

Anyhoo, a guy named Sarge Charlie decided to take it into a political direction and voice his concerns and moral difficulties with President Obama.

That’s cool. I like a good political discourse, especially from a guy who is a Vietnam vet and I am assuming, a career military man.

Let me tell you folks…Uncle Charlie is at best someone who hates democracy, and at worst, a coward.

You see, Charlie is afraid of differing thoughts and beliefs. He eschews any thought of Obama’s way of getting our country out of its economic doldrums.

And this my friends, is coming from a self-proclaimed, ”patriot”. Charlie, the man who has offered up his life in honor and defense of his country, hates democracy.

Ironic, no? Yeah, I thought so too.

Now Charlie, will hide behind the same line that Rush Limbaugh and other right wingers will hide behind…

“I don’t want Obama to fail; I want his policies to fail. I don’t want to become a Socialist country.”

Ha…Look at Charlie’s site and you will find that he is 100% behind the failure of Obama, and ultimately the failure of America under his watch.

And he calls himself a patriot…Nice.

I used to make fun of Dubya when he was in office. I still may in the future.

But…I never had the, go to hell, suck my dick, you are a goddamn motherfucker mentality, day in and day out that Charlie has towards Obama..

Wow…Your readers, Charlie, say things like, “He’s turning us into Sweden.“ Gimme a break, dude.

Obama has no desire to nationalize the auto manufacturers. He’d rather the banks run well on their own. But, he has to do what he feels is the right thing to do, right now.

Obama has courage. He and his policies could lead him to fall on his face, but, he has vision beyond the norm, and is going to try them out.

So be it.

In retrospect Charlie, you my good man, are a pussy. You are afraid of different viewpoints because they are a seismic aberration where your personal views are concerned.

You are afraid that someone other than you, may be right and it will
pop your sterile, monolithic, bubble of life.

I dislike you and pity you at the same time.

You see, I have, and will be proven wrong so many times in my life and I will accept it.

You however, and many like you, both on the right and left, never will.

As for me, I prefer it in color. Preferably, unlike you, in Red, White, and Blue.

Individuality Is Fine...As Long As We All Do It Together

There is a blogospherical hate-fest afoot, and it is directed towards me…The Lovable Matt-Man.

It’s not so much a result of what I write on my site.

In fact, as hard as I try, I can’t seem to offend anyone while they’re reading Bagwine Ruminations…

(Well, except for our resident crazy commenter and blogsite bunny boiler, Nicole.)

No my friends, the hate of me is the result of the comments that I leave upon the sites of others.

Case in point…

I made a comment on Sarge Charlie’s site the other day about how Liberal talking heads like Keith “May I Kiss You on the Mouth, President Obama” Olbermann still bash Bush, and right wingers, like Glenn (Hitler and Jesus Had Alot in Common) Beck keep talking about 9/11.

I was merely making a point that people on either fringe can’t seem to shake their ideologies and move forward on our nation’s problems.

Ol’ Sarge made a short post about my comment and here are some the responses that have been directed towards moi.…

Amazing Gracie: I don't know why Sheila and Matt have to continue to come here and pass gas where we all can smell it!

It just gripes them that we aren't kissing their messiah's butt. I stay away from fights, as a rule, but rudeness cannot be tolerated. Grow up, folks!

As it stands, I still have free speech. Don't know if that will remain true and that's why we knuckle-draggin' conservatives are trying to save your collective necks!

Ha. “Grow Up?”, Gracie. I was far from rude, and I find it funny that you speak of Free Speech and yet, you prefer me to keep my mouth shut. How ironical!!

Sandee (Comedy+): Who cares what he says? Just saying Sarge. He's never done anything worthwhile for his country. Well, except complain that is.

Ol’ Sandee, now there’s a piece of work. She should start something called the 4-M Club. Why?

Because she hates Mexicans, Muslims, and Matt-Man!! But, to her point…

I do plenty for my country. I pay taxes. I work. I help to raise a wonderful son. I vote. I help others whenever possible. And, I speak out both for and against things in which I believe.

And Mizz Bigot…I actually tried to join the USAF in 1988. However, I was not accepted.

Oh sure, I scored a 97 (out of 99) on the ASVAB or AFQT entrance test, but they DQ’d me…A TDQ for bronchitis and a PDQ because of eyesight.

I think they really said no because I mentioned an incident that took place in the early 80’s between my High School gym teacher Scrub Hubner, myself, a video camera, and a can of Gold Bond Medicated Powder.

What can I say? Back then, I was young and needed the money. But seriously…I do whatever I can, whenever I can for anyone, including my fellow Americans.

And, I do it without hating entire groups of people.

I hope someday Sandee gets a spontaneous hug from an American citizen of Mexican descent named Mohammed Juarez while standing on the steps of a Mosque.

Holy Crap…I’d pay to see that, but I would feel sorry for Mr. Juarez.

Anyhoo…

Two of the things that irk me in the blogsophere are when people back down from saying what they feel and act as a yes-man and when folks try to silence others when a point of view doesn’t fit into to their Bubble of Truth.

While the vast majority of people who visit here are left of center, I adore the few who voice the differing opinions on my site.

Differing opinions are good. They’re useful. And most of all, they’re just plain fun.

And keep in mind, when two people (or more) agree on everything, every time…one of them is unnecessary.

I must give a tip of the hat to Sarge. He didn’t try to shut me up. Hell, he gave me big shout out in order to attempt to mock my point.

I dig that…a lot.
